The EnerNETMob mid-term event was successfully organized on 8 July. The event was a chance to present the project's achievements and discuss key topics related to electromobility from a transnational and multidimensional scope. The Conference was organized by our partner Free Municipal Consortium of Ragusa. Salvatore Piazza and Giuseppe Cianciolo welcomed the speakers and the audience to start the discussions, together with Athanasios Chaldeakis, representing the Region of Peloponnese, Lead Partner of the project, and Curzio Cervelli, Interreg MED 2014-2020 Joint Secretariat coordinator.

The event was structured in 3 main sessions. The first session focused on the new EU programming cycle, electromobility policies and planned investments. In this frame, Roberta Lixia, Interreg MED 2014-2020 Joint Secretariat, was invited to present the future outlook of the Interreg Euro-Med 2021-27 Programme followed by Rui Velasco Martins, European Platform on Mobility Management who talked about EPOMM within the new transport policies and mobility management opportunities, and Gerald Miklin, Amt der Kärntner Landesregierung / Regional Government of Carinthia tackling policies and programs for electric transport and e-mobility beyond the Meditteranean region. The session was moderated by Alessandro Carollo, IDEA URBANA Engineering S.r.l.

In the second part of the event, the panelists focused on electromobility for logistics and freight transport. The discussion was coordinated by Alexia Spyridonidou, Dynamic Vision, who welcomed project partners to share their perspectives on the topic. Antonino Galati, University of Palermo, shared thoughts and data related to the feasibility of introducing Electric Freight transport in the short food supply chain, presenting opportunities and challenges. Raphael Rinaldi, Capenergies - Pôle de compétitivité, presented the pilot case in Marseille and state of the art in the Region Sud in France followed by Rade Stanisic, Port of Bar (Montenegro), who presented the dimension of electrification on sea ports.

The last session was dedicated to regulation and planning as a critical key of the electric transport development within the post Covid-19 passenger mobility scenarios and was coordinated by Athanasios Chaldeakis, Region of Peloponnese. In this frame, the Peloponnese electromobility planning experience was presented by Panagiotis Mitropoulos, Region of Peloponnese, followed by Orlando Paraíba, ENA - Agência de Energia e Ambiente da Arrábida, who focused on challenges towards electromobility and the state of the art in Portugal. Finally, Vedran Kirincic, University of Rijeka representing the County of Primorje and Gorski Kotar, joined the panel to explain how public transport and sharing mobility will evolve in coming years towards the concept of "Mobility As A Service", based on the Croatian Experience.
