Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra present their electromobility strategy for the Arrábida territory

The Arrábida Electromobility Plan is the result of the joint work of ENA and the involved municipalities in the scope of EnerNetMob project

Municipalities of Setúbal, Palmela and Sesimbra presented on June 17th their joint electromobility strategy for the Arrábida territory. The document proposes specific measures (a public network of EV charging stations with 209 normal and 76 high power charging points in 2030, shared e-bikes system, electric public transport, low emission zones, electric micromobility, parking policies, last mile logistic, communication plan and online electromobility platform), exploitation models, intervention opportunities and financial and planning instruments for electric infrastructures.

The Arrábida Electromobility Plan is the result of the joint work of ENA–Energy and Environment Agency of Arrábida and these municipalities in the scope of EnerNetMob project.

During the event, the municipalities received the electric vehicles purchased within the framework of the project pilot action (focuses on urban logistics) that will allow municipal services to test the advantages of sustainable modes of mobility. Also integrated in this pilot action, ENA will install three high power charging stations, distributed across the three municipalities.
